- Represents where we form our astral cords with others
- Pink or rosy in color
- 6 to 12 inches from the body
- Connected to the heart chakra
- Frequency of love: relational love, self love, receiving and giving love
- Becomes stronger through loving, intimate relationships
- Bridge between spirit and earth
- Drawn to community and give and take relationships
- Can be weaker during breakups or conflicts with loved ones
- State of the chakras are also easily visible from this layer
The Astral Layer bridges the denser or lower vibrations of the physical plane and the finer or higher vibrations of the spiritual planes. In other words not only is it the dividing line but it also connects the lower three layers with the higher three. It is the layer within your Aura through which all energy must pass when going from one world to the other. Virtually all healing energy comes through the Astral layer. It is the layer of love both specific and universal, and the first of the spiritual layers. By focusing on a positive memory of a love relationship you can expand and open the Astral Layer.
