Behind the Scenes: Reformulating Our Beloved Passion Aura Spray

For the first time in nine years, we're giving one of our most cherished products a fresh new character. Our Passion Aura Spray - known for being unstoppable and seductive - is getting a thoughtful update, and we wanted to share the exciting journey with you.

The Essence of Passion

Before diving into our reformulation story, let's remember what makes Passion Aura Spray special. It's designed to open you up to fully experience a life of love and vitality, transforming your space with warm, vibrant, and sensual energy. The scent captures exotic, hypnotic sensuality, leading with an unstoppable desire for love of self and others.

From Factory to Testing: A Labor of Love

The process began in our factory, where our talented formulators started experimenting with new blends. "We’re excited  to be a part of the reformulation of Passion," they shared while working on the initial formulations. Their excitement was contagious as they carefully crafted 9 unique versions for testing.

The Art of Scent Testing

Our CEO Laura assembled a dedicated testing team - Esperanza, Samantha, and Jim - for a blind evaluation session. What makes our formulation of Passion Aura & Room Boost spray process special? We use water-based formulations rather than alcohol, making them safe for pets and children while allowing the true essence of each scent to shine through. Our commitment to clean formulation remains unchanged - no parabens, phthalates, or alcohol.

The team evaluated 9 distinct blends, each offering a different interpretation of passion. The first sample surprised everyone with its masculine edge, featuring sophisticated notes of cedarwood and vanilla. The second version took a different approach, waking up the senses with bright orange and ylang ylang notes, grounded by subtle ginger and wood undertones. The overall goal was to maintain Passion’s original blend integrity focused on grounding and sacral energy amplification. Our secondary goal was to make it more gourmand, introducing vanilla.

Finding the Perfect Balance

As the testing progressed, clear preferences emerged. While the woodsy, masculine notes of the first blend impressed the team, they agreed that Passion needed to maintain its feminine allure. The second blend's invigorating citrus notes sparked interest, suggesting a promising direction but it was too close to our Blissful Aura Spray blend.

Some interesting discoveries came from unexpected places. Some team members advocated for enhanced "bedroomy" notes, the sweet warm vanilla was so comforting and sensual, while others suggested adding "juicy" elements to brighten the blend. The team agreed that the perfect formula would balance sensual sophistication with feminine energy while being genderless.

One of the key considerations during reformulation was maintaining the spray's versatility. Our Passion Aura Spray isn't just a room spray - it's a lifestyle enhancement tool. Whether you're:
