A: My present descriptive nouns include mystic, muse, memoirist, intuitive empath & guide, and Tarot card reader. Among my past influences: publishing consultant, editor, and author of fiction & nonfiction. Today I publish Shelley Writes, a blog and newsletter sharing stories, ideas, and Tarot to heal the soul and the planet, often featuring the photo-artistry of my beloved husband, Joe Gemignani, lost to this world too soon. My purpose here and in life is to share beauty in picture and word, shining a light that attracts and connects with other light beings engaged in similar pursuits.

PEOPLE WE ADORE: Shelley Lieber
We all have people we meet along the way, connect with and know we adore. Meet Shelley!
-
Q: Tell us a little bit about you, your company and your company's mission.
-
Q: What is your superpower? Tell us about a moment you recall that your superpower served you?
A: I have a gift for reading, clearing, and aligning energy. I use my clairsentience, claircognizance, and clairaudience abilities as well as divination tools such as Tarot and Oracle cards to offer insightful guidance for improved health, relationships, and living your soul purpose.
Although it wasn’t a precise moment, my life changed for the better once I committed to relying on my internal intuitive senses over conventional guidance from outside sources.
-
Q: What are your rituals for self-care, healing or de-stressing? Is there a special place you go?
A: I have created two energy vortexes within my home where I can retreat for meditation or to journal. These areas are filled with meaningful items, crystals, and ADORAtherapy candles. I also enjoy walking in nature for grounding and connecting with All That Is.
-
Q: With which Chakra do you most identify and why?
A: That’s a tough question to answer! I work at being mindful of all my energy centers to keep myself balanced. Being an Aquarian with three planets in Pisces in my natal chart keeps me in my head and dreamy much of the time, so I pay special attention to my root chakra and grounding myself.
-
Q: What made you want to become an Aura reader?
A: I can feel and sense people’s auras intuitively. For me, having a computer program and camera that could visually capture the aura colors was an additional format to receive information about an individual’s energy field. Plus, it’s tons of fun and everyone seems to love the “material proof” of what they suspected about themselves all along.
-
Q: How were you introduced to Adoratherapy?
A: I wandered into the store while shopping in The Grove Arcade and fell in love with the products—especially the candles. I was a big fan before I ever even dreamed of working there
