We all have people we meet along the way, connect with and know we adore. As we share what we are up to we create a vibration and lock into areas of compatibility.

I met Rebecca in the shop. She came in with her son Will for an aura reading.  We had an amazing session and Jim & I connected with them both in a profound way. Little did I know what Rebecca was up to in the world. It would make total sense later when she brought her partner Robert for his reading. On this second trip we learned about her passion for connecting and her path to consciousness.

Rebecca represents the third eye energy. She is a seeker and a guide, combining what she learns into gifts for those who cross her path. Tell us about you and what you are up to in the world:

I am a former advertising professional and VP of Marketing for United Way of Atlanta as well as an artist. I am the founder and Executive Director of Raising the Vibe, a 501 (C)(3) nonprofit which serves as a global connection hub for expanding consciousness. Raising the Vibe hosts monthly Zoom speakers in the areas of self-actualization, holistic healing and conscious community practices.

In addition to painting ( https://www.rebeccabeckerartist.com/) and running the nonprofit, I offer my services as a Spiritual Guide, sharing resources to assist in people's awakening, including books, trusted practitioners in energy healing/consciousness work and self-discovery tools. As a Gene Keys Guide, I offer one-on-one sessions to illuminate your profile to help you contemplate your shadows and transform them into the gifts that are hidden in your DNA. My educational subscription module entitled, “Finding Your Unique Gifts and Higher Purpose”, is available on the Shift/Co member platform and Thinkific.

Tell us how you became interested in energy work:

After an awakening experience in the Fall of 2017, I became aware of chakras and meridians and asked my friend, Rebecca Wineka, if she believed in it. She answered in the affirmative and sent a video showing how frequencies create patterns. Rebecca, a therapist, was just starting to learn specialized kinesiology. I had a session with her at Just Be Wellness in Black Mountain, NC and my life has never been the same. I introduced Rebecca and this type of energy work to my friends in Atlanta.

You have a crystal collection. How did it start and how do you use crystals in your chakra work?

I started collecting crystals early in my awakening journey to help in meditation. I have also used them to clear energy in the room, as well as for protection (emf and otherwise). I love my large amethyst and have a large selenite crystal by my bed to clear the energy.

Where do you live?

I live in Gateway Mountain outside of Old Fort, NC. I lived in Atlanta for over 30 years, but the mountains were calling and I moved to Black Mountain in May of 2020. My young adult children followed and are still residing in the area as well. My daughter, Kate, is a yoga instructor at Black Mountain Yoga and is attending The Center for Massage and Natural Health in Asheville. My son is on a self-study course in our basement (his sanctuary) to learn everything that he didn’t learn in high school, with a primary focus on computer programming and video game design.

When did you find your passion?

I have had many passions in my life and feel like I have lived several lives in this one. However, the passion to raise consciousness started in early 2018. I went from being a portrait artist/stay-at-home mom, to founding a non-profit just one year after an awakening experience, where my 3D linear view of the world was crushed. I started questioning reality and asked myself two questions:

1. Is there some sort of interconnected energy field that affects us?

2. What are the common elements in all religions throughout time and culture?

Raising the Vibe started as a spiritual book club and Facebook Group to explore our deeper spiritual nature and consciousness, specifically the intersection between science and spirituality. It was turned into a non-profit one year later.

What chakras are you working on healing?

I am working on opening up my pineal for more intuition. I have spent most of my life doing and using my analytical mind. I am now finding the balance between my left and right hemispheres and spending more time being and opening my third eye.

How do you Adore Yourself?

I adore myself by walking in nature, listening to Oraclegirl.org, spending time with my young adult children and my partner, Robert. I listen to what my energy is calling me to do next and dive into that. I have really enjoyed blogging lately and working on an ebook to explain the esoteric spiritual aspects of The Matrix Resurrection.

How would your friends describe you?

My former Atlanta friends would think I am a bit crazy now as I have taken the path less traveled and have wholeheartedly committed to my spiritual path. I am not afraid to go against the mainstream and speak my truth. Others would describe me as strong (and strong willed), courageous, deeply dedicated to my purpose balanced by a warm nurturing side. I can also be a bit analytical as I am always searching for truth. My aura picture from your machine was green from top to bottom with yellow on either side.

What is your typical mood?

Grateful, joyful and engaged in life.

What are you working on right now in your life for healing and balancing?

I am working on more time for stillness and meditation. I am still getting my adrenals in check after much stress from my former life in Atlanta.

When did you find out about Adoratherapy?

My son Will and I were doing some Christmas shopping and went to the Grove Arcade for the first time on December 4. We saw Jim set up outside your shop with a sign about aura readings and immediately had a reading for both of us. We felt a connection with both of you right away and my son felt deeply seen by his time with both of you.
