People We Adore: Rachel Meyer

We are a clean label dog treat business - our treats are made with superfoods adaptogens and lots of peanut butter. I started the business because my picky rescue pup wouldn't eat a lot of treat brands.

During the pandemic, with time on my hands I started to experiment with recipes and ingredients and made treats at home. I made too many treats and gave them out to friends. They encouraged me to sell them. Little by little I stepped out and sold at farmer's markets and it took off. I am committed to creating plant based snacks for dogs and using sustainable business practices.

We give back to animal rescue. Our snacks have names like Balance & Calm, Inner Glow and Flower Power. We offer sample size treat bags, large size treat bags and even treat jars.

Our botanical illustrations on our packaging are beloved and people find our brand resonates with their desire to provide healthy plant based snacks to their dogs.

A: Storytelling and building community! I love to share our stories on social media and my tiktoks tell our community about our products but also about my family and my business. One could say that I am transparent about the ups and downs of building a business.

A: I always do a morning meditation.I also journal. I like to dry brush & Gua sha. I do yoga and pilates! I am a busy mom, wife and entrepreneur but I am focused on keeping myself sane.

A: The Heart chakra. You can tell from my packaging that I am creative, from my social media that I am a lover of people and pets, and from my ingredients I am focused on healing. I love donating money and products to causes like pet rescue.
