A: Our product originated from two personal needs. My son was diagnosed with eczema as a toddler. When I applied his steroid cream with my fingers, I noticed that a significant amount was being absorbed by my skin (eventually triggering dermatitis on my fingers) leaving me with no transparency as to exactly how much medicine he was receiving. I was also frustrated with how inefficient (and unhygienic, even when washed) my fingers were for applying my own skincare. I scoured the Internet for an application tool to solve these problems, but there was none. So, LUNAESCENT was born! With redesigns, our patent pending applicator is now a multipurpose skincare tool -- perfect not only for any type of skincare application, but also for massaging, depuffing, washing and more.

-
Q: Tell us a little bit about you, your company and your company's mission.
-
Q: What is your superpower? Tell us about a moment you recall that your superpower served you?
A: Resiliency! Having gone through three major geographical moves, revolution, war, political persecution, immigration, and other personal upheavals, I have come to appreciate how resiliency has allowed me to plan and move forward for a better future.
-
Q: What are your rituals for self-care, healing or de-stressing? Is there a special place you go?
A: I have been using my nightly skincare routine with my LUNAESCENT applicator to incorporate a short but effective self-care and self reflection session at the end of my day. While I apply and massage my face with my oils and serums, I reflect on the day, absorb lessons, and form a plan of action for the next day. I feel this nightly ritual relaxes and balances my mind so I can greet the next day with open arms.

Q: With which Chakra do you most identify and why?
A: Root Chakra! After having moved so many times, I think putting down roots and feeling I belong is an important part of dealing with life changes and upheavals.
