When I moved to Asheville I didn't have many friends. I was asked to speak at a women's event about my life as an entrepreneur and shared a very personal story with a group of ladies. Marisol came right over to introduce herself when I got off the stage. She asked me to have lunch. I was so delighted and surprised.

We enjoyed salads at one of our favorite local Asheville Vegan places the Laughing Seed. We immediately clicked. Deep conversations personal sharing, co-creating..It all happened. Major girl crush. I discovered Marisol's passion for fashion. Asheville is not known for its style and trend setters, but Marisol was determined to change that. She brings to the fashion conversation depth, emotions and awareness. After being in the fashion industry for most of my career, this thoughtfulness was so inspiring, after all fashion is about moods too, and there is so much to uncover when we understanding what we are covering up!

When I asked Marisol what size shoe she wore and we were the same, the bag of high heels I was waiting to donate found a happy home. And of course her faves were my faves, shiny silver pointy toe stilettos. Friends for life. I signed up for Marisol's Class and had so much fun rethinking my clothes, how I dress, what I say with my choices and more. I bought my favorite Green Skirt during her class and always get compliments. I even wore it during my photo shoot. Marisol reminded me to love myself more when I play with my clothes. So I am pleased to introduce my dear friend and Adoratherapy Ambassador, Marisol Colette.

I do yoga daily, meditate often, read something spiritual every day with my spouse and I love my dog to the moon and back. My spouse and I co host the Apple Top 100 ranking relationship podcast, “Reading Aloud.” I chair the Board of Directors at our local center for rape crisis and prevention & education of sexual violence. And in addition to running my businesses, I love to collaborate with other women in my community. 

Needless to say, my Adoratherapy mood boosts are an essential part of my day and how I maintain serenity. My favorite scent is “Blissful” because that’s how I like to feel when approaching all I do in life. I spray the Room Boost between sessions and reset my space before transitioning to a new client or project.
