What is your idea of perfect happiness?
Living a life that is of purpose, in balance and allowing myself to be in a place of alignment, flow and receptivity for the richness and beauty of life to simply show itself.
What is your greatest fear?
My daughters are my greatest treasure. As a single parent there is a constant juggle being both a mother and a father, career and all around life management , it is intense! For me fears come up around being the best parent I can be every day, giving them enough love and discipline, providing the tools and platform for them to go out in the world ready to actualize their potential and purpose.
What is the trait you most dislike in yourself?
I think this question can be such a trap for the human psyche. I am all for a evolving process of personal growth and through that we of course are required to look at all aspects of ourselves, particularly the shadow side to determine what limits us from living the life we truly desire. Conversely, we can easily get stuck in the mouse well of negative self-talk and self-judgement which becomes counter productive. One of the most frustrating aspects to my character is that I can be really hard on myself and tend to judge myself, my creations, how long it takes to actualize a goal and the list can go on. And yet, this all creates the potential to learn the lesson of compassion and love for the self.
What is the trait you most deplore in others?
Again, it's easy to get caught up in judgement, we see it everywhere-this person isn't beautiful enough, thin enough, successful enough, and s on. When we really get down to the truth though, whenever we so, etching adore or abhor in another person, we are actually seeing a mirror reflection of ourselves. This may sound like bid level thinking but all paths of awakening and personal transformation will lead to this truth. I will say I really don't tolerate gossip well.
Which living person do you most admire?
My father has been an amazing teacher, ally and friend in my life. Through tremendous adversity growing up in the depression, fatherless, poor and as an Irish Catholic in the early 1930's when that just wasn't cool. He fought as marine in the Korean War - our generation and younger have no concept of what that means to experience the carnage of war and to live through it. He rose to the top of his field as police chief in our city and his staff may not have liked him but they all respected him. He taught me how to be strong, confident and seriously driven to succeed and do better every day. He taught me the importance of family and that you can still have heart, humor, humility and strength
What is your greatest extravagance?
I adore expensive water. It's one of our most precious commodities on this planet. I drink Evian whenever I can find it. I even tried to get it delivered to my house, sadly not here in the US. I would bathe in it, cook with it and fill a pool and swim in it if I could.
What is your favorite essential oil?
Super tough question! I am in a phase right now of immersing myself in rose Otto. It is a luscious, rich and magical aromatic and can perhaps never be adequately described, demanding the full experience and attention of the individual to initiate the journey through the a many petaled flower that opens a portal into true nature of beauty within. If you have never experienced a true rose, spend the money it is incredibly powerful.
What is your current state of mind?
Peaceful, even though in this moment there are so many things I want to do, I am ok knowing I am right here right now. My heart is open.
What do you consider the most overrated virtue?
I have questioned diligence. I like to remind my daughter of her amazing qualities like wisdom, kindness, brilliance etcetera. For awhile I was adding diligence. I then questioned how often diligence gets twisted into over work, and the belief that life is hard. I think with intention, discipline and action with being in the flow- magic happens.
On what occasion do you lie?
There are moments that I have lied to myself about certain relationships or justification of certain actions and I am holding intention to shift them for myself. It is so freeing when we are completely honest with ourselves.
What do you most dislike about your appearance?
I can't wait to get my flat belly back, losing the baby weight second time around has been a more more interesting. I am for sure gonna get there though!
Which living person do you most despise?
Hmmm. I don't feel that emotion for anyone on the planet. Hatred and its counterparts solely only fuel more separation, distortion and disharmony and can suck our energy , our joy and our creativity in a moment. It is part of the "old" paradigm of living and can only be transformed through love and compassion.

What is the quality you most like in a woman?
How do you incorporate aromatherapy into your daily practice?
I am constantly rolling, spraying, anointing myself. Through the years I have seen how quickly we can shift how we feel and what we are thinking in the moment -we calcite rally shift the trajectory of our emotional response in an instant. Why would I want to feel blah, or angry or fill in the blank when I can feel good, knowing that in every moment that I feel good leads to moments of feeling great and acknowledging my greatness and greatness in others. That's where I want to hang out.
Which words or phrases do you most overuse?
I love the words “trajectory” and “modulate. My friends and sister make fun of me all the time for that. I don't care, it makes me happy. I think I also use the word “really” a lot .
